--|¦|-- ALWAYS ON THE PROWL FOR NEW MUSIC of all genres -- I consider my taste in music to be extremely diverse and enjoy listening to everything from trance to celtic to hiphop and nearly everything in between.
Growing up aprox. 30 miles from Minneapolis, MN, in Western Wisconsin's St.Croix River Valley, I was drawn to the lyrical depth of the local Midwest Hiphop scene and became a fan of underground hiphop artists such as Atmosphere (long before Rhymesayers blew up), Brother Ali, The Crest outta Madison, WI, The Beatnuts, Jurassic 5, The Late Eyedea, etc. Certain, electro, house, and dubstep acts have grown on me more recently, and I'm a strong believer that it is hard to go wrong with a solid Rock song.
I love to travel to new places as much as possible above all. With a background and interest in Cultural Geography, I live to experience different cultures, meet new people, discover new music, and see sights around the world with my own eyes.
I've lived in rural western Wisconsin, urban St. Paul, MN, the eastside of Milwaukee,WI, the border city of Int'l Falls, MN, and Bemidji, MN - where I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Geography/GeoScience. Soon thereafter I packed up & moved to Southern California to attend grad school where I obtained a specialized MBA degree focused on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology.
After initially settling in SoCal's Inland Empire region 60 miles east of LA., I migrated to coastal San Diego.
My real dream is to manage an NGO in Africa which would serve to satisfy my urge for Adventure/Travel while seeking to improve life for those who need it most on the paradoxical continent that has so much potential despite being written off by much of the developed world inpart because of it's rampant corruption that impedes nearly all improvement.
