The sounds in the in game version near the beginning reminded me of the Great Wall of China levels in Crash Warped. Kind of surprised that wasn't the original intent you had for the song based on the pre-console mix

I like this version! I’ve also noticed you can only hear the flute/whistle (?) at 1:20 rather than throughout the song as in the in-game version.

@user-731430482: It means it was the version created before the song was heavily compressed for the game. Video Games on CDs (Playstation, Sega Saturn, etc.) often had to compress the soundtrack in order to fit the rest of the game onto the CD. Keep in mind that the average CD holds about 700MB of data, so the compression methods used often resulted in changes to how the songs sound like.
