Joe Eck is an up and coming drummer in the Seattle and Pacific Northwest music scenes, whose talent is being widely recognized. After studying at the renowned Perpich Center for the Arts Education, in the greater Minneapolis area, Joe moved to Seattle to study at Cornish College of the Arts, where he received a BM in Jazz Instrumental Performance.
In any given week, Joe can be seen playing at any of a wide variety of venues, playing an even wider variety of music from different genres. Joe has performed at Tula’s Jazz Club, The Royal Room, The Seamonster Lounge, The Liquid Mountain Music Fest(Port Angeles), Tractor Tavern, Highline, Triple Door(mainstage and Musiquarium Lounge), Intiman Playhouse, PONCHO Concert Hall, The Pink Door, Can Can, Connor Byrne Pub, and more. Since arriving in Seattle, Joe has performed with Paoli Mejias(of Carlos Santana’s band), Chuck Deardorf, Randy Halberstad, Jay Thomas, Kate Olson, Jaques Willis, Steve O’Brien, Denney Goodhue, Nicole Mitchell, Julian Priester, and many other great talents.
Joe also works regularly at local recording studios such as London Bridge Studio, has been featured multiple times on KEXP, and has received press in publications such as Earshot Jazz, The Stranger, and Seattle Weekly.
