Jori Tokyo Johannes Riedmann Regensburg JORI Tokyo aka Johannes Riedmann is a visual artist from Regensburg/GER. Inspired by Fluxus and DADA he does research and works in the fields of performance, sound-art and virtual-reality/cyberspace. Since 2000 JORI is part of the media-art-group Pomodoro Bolzano. Actual works and projects are focussed around binaural, semiphysical and virtual sound-instruments concepted for performance in cyberspace. Together with Pomodoro Bolzano numerous mixed-media based physical, haptic and virtual artworks emerged. In the time from 2000 till 2007 he was active member of the media-art-group Pomodoro Bolzano. 2005 he earned a cultural prize of the city of Regensburg (Ratisbon). Jori´s music is defined as experimental cybernoise. The play with many broken parallel beatlines, elements of glitch and noise also heavy modified synthesizers are the essence of each track.
