Wax Upon the Blueprints by JonnyQ published on 2013-05-29T19:25:23Z This song has a strange name, I know. I wanted to reference the cool outfits of plague doctors somehow and was attempting to be abstract. During the 1300s, plague doctors added coats of wax to their suits in order to protect themselves from the Black Death. Adding wax to blueprints is therefore meant to be a long-winded metaphor for covering your ass. So the title isn't just gibberish!
