Jonathan Galland Film Composer San Francisco, CA Jonathan Galland is a French music composer, currently established both in San Francisco, California and Paris, France. His work for motion pictures (ranging from feature-length documentary, to animated shorts and music for advertisements) has received to this day over seventy international music awards from over 15 countries. The various accolades include a "Best Composer Award", a "Critics Choice Award", numerous outstanding achievements and awards of excellence, as well as a “Soundtrack of the Year” award. In 2020, Galland was also nominated twice for a Crystal Pine Award from the International Sound & Film Music Festival in Croatia, alongside Alberto Iglesias, Gabriel Yared, Thomas Newman, Max Richter, Alexandre Desplat and James Newton Howard, among others. Galland’s music has been discussed on various podcasts, and has been mentioned in trade publications such as Music Connection magazine. His soundtrack for "The Ribbon" has also received in-depth reviews and analysis by film critics and film music bloggers.
