I See Rain (Remix) - For the Victims and Volunteers involved in the Tasmanian Bushfires Jan 2013 by Jon Cavenagh published on 2013-01-08T01:02:44Z I wrote this song a while ago but its been stuck in my head this week when thinking about the Tasmanian bushfires. It seems stupid to sing about rain in a fire but this song is about hope and seeing the rains come when everything has been burned away. Its about meeting a dream at the waters edge where we've run to be safe. This song is not a rain dance (or maybe it is) but a song of hope. My heart goes out to our fire fighters and volunteers who risk their own lives and families continually to make others safe. You guys are the heroes. Picture is taken at Tranmere on sunset looking over towards Mt. Wellington.
