ShINRI & tHe jOhnhippie pRoject Jupiter jOhnhippie was created in the autumn of 2012 when singer/songwriter Shinri Tee moved to Monségur and met with Rodolphe 'BamBam' Grabowski and Clément 'ElGringo' Roberts, the nucleus of "21st Century Funk" (an 11 piece funk band with an average age of 19), incidently also mostly ex-students of the "Eleonore De Provence School_Option Jazz". John Hippie's red van with flowers was instrumental in this meeting of minds. Without John Hippie there would be no jOhnhippie (the band!) ;) At the moment we have "Shinri vox/guit, Bambam on drums, El gringo on electric guitar, 'lil Louis Laville on bass guitar and his brother king Art on saxophone. We are recording our rehearsals using a macbook pro with logic8, and our pa system: 808M FRSeries MACKIE. All speakers connected to the main the 2x PEAVY RX Series to main out speakon and the 2xJBL Eon Power 10 + Wharfdale Titan 12 from the face main out jack.
