joeonlyone Joe Kowalski Boston onlyone released the ambient album "Zen and the Art of Commuting by Public Transportation" in February, 2015, and he released three other solo albums and an album with his band The Elderly in 2014. Joe "onlyone" Kowalski is a composer/ producer/ multi-instrumentalist based in Boston. He has played in countless bands as keyboardist or bassist (including BrownBoot, Gato Malo, Larry Banilow, The World's Greatest Sinners, All the Queen's Men, Larry Banilow, The Bay City Rollers featuring Ian Mitchell and many more), and has written and recorded a number of solo albums ranging from ambient music to electronics-infused progressive rock. Joe has also been an equal member of other collaborative recording groups like Fünf and The Elderly, co-writing, playing numerous instruments and co-producing all albums. Topping it off, Joe is half of the absurdist soft rock outfit Larry Banilow, producing and engineering the greatest hits album "Huggin' Funshine: 16 Golden Greats," co-writing all of the songs and playing many of the instruments on the record. In 2010 Joe produced, engineered and co-composed (with guitarist/ vocalist Adam Sherman) the soundtrack to the feature-length independent film Phillip The Fossil (available in NetFlix). Joe's music has also provided the soundtrack for other short films. Joe has also composed the theme song for acclaimed creativity podcast Ideascicle.
