Joakim Carley got a taste for music in his early teens. His passion for music has only grown since. He’s played in clubs and at events all over Sweden, and has been a guest DJ in clubs throughout Europe. Joakim Carley’s DJ sets are designed from a desire to bring joy to the crowd—and from the melodies of the tracks which he plays—which earns him the right to be called a versatile DJ who can play in arenas such as clubs, at events or in hotel bars. Apart from having performed his own sets, Joakim Carley has also been the warm-up act for acts such as Maskinen, Daniel Adams-Ray and Lagom Soundsystem.
In 2007, Joakim Carley started producing his own tracks, and the collaboration on the track White Deck with DJ and producer MrTea was featured in an article in the leading music mag, Future Music. In 2011, Joakim Carley gained attention after DJing in clubs in Sweden, which gave him the opportunity to make two official remakes for Swedish singer Cazzi Opeia. The two tracks were released by the people behind P!nk – Stupid Girls: record label Macho Records.
The first track to be released under the name Joakim Carley was Last Route, released in 2012. It can be described as melodic techno and was inspired by the sound of Booka Shade. The track was released by Italian record label DavidDance Records and has been published at several digital music outlets, and is available on Spotify. Again in 2012, Joakim Carley did anumber of gigs across Sweden while being a frequent DJ at Collage in Stockholm, Sweden.
One of Joakim Carley’s most memorable gigs took place at one of Southern Sweden’s mostprestigious clubs, namely Palace Kalmar. Together with singer Tia Lily, then current with the track Adrenaline, and DJ Frank Tamen, they delivered a show with live vocals, dynamic melodies and heavy beats.
Another feat of Joakim Carley’s was to make an unofficial remix of John Martin’s track JustDrive. Released in 2013, this remix earned Joakim Carley a contract with Canadian record label ElectroKill Media, which also runs a major music blog. Joakim Carley’s first release with ElectroKill Media was progressive house track Plain, released on November 18, 2013.
These days, Joakim Carley produces mixed genres of music featuring interesting beats and melodic synthesisers. He’s currently working on several different projects with people on the Swedish music scene, as well as with people abroad. Overall, Joakim Carley’s experience as a DJ and a producer makes him great at knowing what the crowd wants, and he always puts his own melodic mark on it.

Joakim Carley - Plain (Original Mix)
Muzikmagazinet: AMAZING!!! Next up on MUZIK MAG SWEDEN is music from the brilliant mind of Joakim Carley, the new track "PLAIN" are one of my absolute new favourites right now, I have lots of love for Deadmau5, he is one of my biggest inspirations and even though Joakim sounds a bit like Deadmau5 when he is in the best of moods, we have a unique progressive uplifting banger from Joakim. I LOVE IT!!! just like Icona Pop would say.
John Martin - Just Drive (Joakim Carley Remix)
Muzikmagazinet: He have one of the most powerful voices, I am talking about Swedish House Mafia´s singer JOHN MARTIN. John is not only on the topic with the great track "RELOAD" where he stands for the vocal, he have his own music too. "JUST DRIVE" is one of John´s own track and this a wonderful and very well done remix on the track from JOAKIM CARLEY. Joakim comes from Stockholm and he is one of many talented producers that we are proud to have in Sweden.
Lady gaga - Applause (Joakim Carley Remix)
Muzikmagazinet: Up next is more SWEDISH housemusic, a great remix and in my opinion one of the best remixes i´ve heard on Lady Gaga´s single "APPLAUSE", we have a nice beat in the track and i love that Joakim Carley made it so danceable, the originaltrack goes in 140 BPM, a bit hard for us DJ´s to do a proper mix.
Tritonal & Paris Blohm feat. Sterling Fox - Colors (Joakim Carley Remix)
