J.J. Crowne is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who started his career as a composer, performer and producer of theatrical music, radio jingles, and TV cues & themes for Fox, PBS and Univision TV amongst others. In his home of Miami, he opened shows for acts as diverse as The Mavericks and Marilyn Manson in the early 1990′s. His debut album “Songs Of Innocence And Experience” was released July, 2011 and was later named “2011 Indie CD Of The Year” by IndieMusicDigest – selected over 300 other entries. The album received only excellent reviews from over 20 music publications both here and abroad, and is still available on iTunes, Amazon, and all other major online outlets. A diverse list of land and internet radio stations worldwide are still regularly airing songs from that debut album, including over 20 stations in the Live365.com network, as well as KCLA FM (one of L.A.’s most listened-to Rock stations), Arise Radio (one of the web’s most popular Inspirational stations, where his song “Finally Your Turn” became one of last year’s Top Ten most requested songs), World Talents Radio, and www.radioairplay.com (where hundreds of listeners from every continent have registered as fans of his).
After gaining music industry and international press recognition for his self-produced debut album in 2011, J.J. Crowne teamed-up with gold-record producer Stephen Wrench (Hank, Jr., Missing Persons, Vince Gill) and well-known mixing/mastering engineer Jeff Silverman (Rick Springfield, Prince) to complete a 5-song EP released July, 2012 on Musik and Film Records and distributed by Sony/Orchard. The EP, entitled “Another Day Of Love,” has newly-recorded versions of 5 of J.J.’s songs: “Another Day Of Love,” “Only Time,” “Best Of Intentions,” “Toy Soldiers,” and “She And He.” As of February 2013, over 1,000 internet, satellite and land radio stations worldwide were airing songs from the new EP; and the title track was already the #2 listener-voted song on www.worldtalentsradio.com out of 280 songs. His song “Only Time” was downloaded over 6,000 times in its one-day feature on Songshooter.com, and is currently featured on the prestigious “Taste Of Triple A” radio sampler-- for upcoming airplay on over 300 additional major U.S. stations (along with songs by Melissa Etheridge, Fun and The Grip Weeds). "She And He" recently made the Top 20 on the U.K.'s MusicWorldRadio Chart.
