Podquisition Episode 153: Moons Deep In The Mario by Jimquisition published on 2017-10-26T18:00:29Z This week, Mario Odyssey takes center stage, but we chat plenty about Assassin's Creed Origins as well. One of us weren't allowed to play the latest Ubisoft game, because U-play wouldn't let them. Genre Entertainment Comment by JonSnell lol oragne gob shite!! 2019-02-05T20:17:49Z Comment by A Neil No matter how much you try to justify it, it's stuff we don't want and it will slowly creep in further and further and get worse. 2017-11-02T07:09:13Z Comment by Eric Bickerdyke €70 for a new release here in Ireland, used to be 60 :( 2017-10-29T15:13:42Z Comment by Graved Uplay? No play, only pay. 2017-10-29T09:10:40Z Comment by Trelhouse J. Sterling 2017 2017-10-29T01:52:14Z Comment by Adrian Ceroni That sounds like Day 1 DLC though. 2017-10-28T07:21:35Z Comment by TomSwervo Lmao Gav hit it right on the fucking head. Nintendo fans will be happy and gp crazy but anyone who doesn't have a switch by now won't be buying it for Mario. 2017-10-27T16:21:28Z Comment by aleotothepast DLC that isn't in a Season Pass is fucking annoying. A Season Pass should just be a pre-paid collection of all DLC imo. 2017-10-27T12:03:15Z Comment by bowomar An amazing thing with warframe is that the premium currency is tradeable, so you can litterally earn your way to ''Premium only'' items by playing the game, I wish more games did this. It creates this huge open market and a playerbase that has a large incentive to keep playing. 2017-10-27T11:34:50Z Comment by bowomar Saying an easy option like this ruins your experience, is like saying the color blind mode options are ruining your aesthetic even though you're not using it. 2017-10-27T11:05:29Z Comment by User 457647658 quiet ya bean 2017-10-27T08:07:30Z Comment by SunDancerGE Gav is giving the industries bad ideas again! ;) 2017-10-27T08:00:55Z Comment by mitch Well put. Groaning what we're all thinking 2017-10-27T05:28:51Z Comment by Dj_Ziio @dj_ziio: Fractured But Whole was available day 2 after release, same for the new Wolfenstein game, both are denuvo games. Wildlands was also denuvo but was out 7 months before it was finally cracked. 2017-10-26T23:53:33Z Comment by Dj_Ziio @theorak: Denuvo was the only DRM that has worked for an extended time, it was remained uncracked for year or more. That is one of the main reasons its usage was so widespread. It was cracked though and now games are available pirated almost immediatly. Soon enough denuvo will update and it will be effective for a time, before it is cracked yet again. The only true solution is forced online access, games such as Destiny will never have issue with piracy, same for Overwatch and the like. 2017-10-26T23:50:47Z Comment by ⇒Silhouetters Really wish I could play Wolfenstein 2 and Mario Odyssey :c 2017-10-26T20:59:47Z Comment by Theorak Nope, it's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piranha_Bytes German dev, known for very klunky RPGs with inner values (to hardcore fans). 2017-10-26T20:54:51Z Comment by Chris H there should be a law about addictive mechanics involving real money. You know, like drugs? 2017-10-26T20:40:56Z Comment by Chris H I buy loads of dlc for Disgaea because those games on there own are freaking amazing and have loads of content. 2017-10-26T20:32:12Z Comment by Theorak @theorak: BTW, Denouvo did not stop pirates. 2017-10-26T20:23:18Z Comment by Chris H I nearly hate timers like in Warframe. 2017-10-26T20:23:14Z Comment by Theorak I get you, sprinting through South Park as I'm listening, so I can be done for Wolfenstein. 2017-10-26T20:22:03Z Comment by StCrimson667 This is what I'm happy about with Nintendo. Every other games publisher is pushing games out the door as fast as they can, but Nintendo is taking its time, knowing that it will pay off when it releases a quality, well-made game that people will like. 2017-10-26T20:14:43Z Comment by Paladin Cat I would ask if there's anything the Miracle of Sound cannot do, but that's kinda rhetorical 2017-10-26T19:57:28Z Comment by Chris H I don't know this Mario you speak of... ha! 2017-10-26T19:48:05Z Comment by Rob Roddy Collecting stuff in a platformer? I never would have guessed 2017-10-26T18:36:01Z
