Lil Shxwn Lil Shxwn Saint Louis Growing up, Lil Shxwn was surrounded by the music industry. Not only did he grow up during a prominent period in St. Louis’ Hip Hop scene, but also was born into a legacy of Hip Hop; as Lil Shxwn is the nephew of the rapper Nelly. Lil Shxwn recorded his first song at the age of 11 and started a musical act with his cousin. He then left that group and joined another group JGE Retro with a family friend. This group has since disbanded and Shxwn has sights to make a mark on the entertainment industry solo. While Shxwn grew up during the height of St. Louis’ Hip Hop culture, he has decided to stray away from other current sounds coming out of the city because he feels the trap genre has grown too generic. Shxwn received a major breakthrough after being featured on BET’s reality show 'Nellyville,' which documented the behind the scenes life of his uncle Nelly & their Immediate family. Shxwn brings something extra to the table with his hardworking and persevering mentality. Shxwn is currently in the process of cooking up his new project.
