N.I.N.O, was born Jermey DeWayne Owens on January 20, 1989 in Washington, D.C. N.I.N.O. quickly became accustomed to poverty and struggle early in his life. Relocating to Virginia in the late 1990's for better living opportunities, N.I.N.O. and his Family would fight and struggle to build a solid foundation. While in School, N.I.N.O began to write things down (Rap) thinking nothing of it during study hall and various periods. Often being a troubled student in school N.I.N.O’s mother began to buckle down on him not allowing him to go to parties and other activities. During this time of "Punishment" N.I.N.O. took this time to craft his skills and become more confident in his Lyrical skills. In the early 2000’s N.I.N.O. wrote very often and was asked from his mother what he was doing, he was so content with having instrumentals and a notebook. Once he graduated high school in 07' N.I.N.O. joined the Military shortly to establish a backbone for success. After a tour in Iraq in 10' Owens is back to doing what he loves to do, MUSIC.
