Washougal, United States
Thanks for dropping in. This is for all of you people out there who still listen to real music and not that bubble-gum $#!% that we hear so often.
I am a 24 year old musician, composer, and performer from Portland, Oregon. The 90's alternative scene had a huge impact on my music. Some of my favorite bands are The Goo Goo Dolls, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Sting, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, although, I do enjoy all types of music to some degree.
Most of my music is acoustic because I like that way of expression. Started playing guitar at age thirteen and will never stop learning. I also really enjoy playing bass and drums. I tend to think of my style as being feel and rhythm oriented, but still very melodic. I just like to have fun, play around on different instruments, and think of new ideas.
Looking back, I've played over fifty shows. I've made appearances at Tomfest, Washougalfest, Camas Art & Music Fest, Gresham's Music Mondays, The Hawthorne Theatre, The Satyricon, Mississippi Pizza, The Grind Coffeehouse, Moxies Soda Shop, Pop Culture, The Phoenix Lounge, Washougal High School's Bluenote Cafe, Pioneer Square Starbucks, just to name a few. I've also released two demos and made TV appearances on Comcast as a trio, and as a four piece band.
Performing in front of a large audience can be unforgettable, but you can always look to the music for reward. My goal is to reach the ears of the right listeners and hopefully have a few albums out someday.
Special thanks to Ryne Freed, Nate Battles, Graham Payne, Chris Hanson, Violet Phan, Brain McAuley, Bryan Vehrencamp, and Annie Cowan for contributing so generously to this project. Also, thanks to Jared Throop at BlackBird Studios for producing our EP! Thanks to all of the fans for your support. Stay tuned for more music…
