AIRCRAFT WIND by luke-symons published on 2013/05/25 13:11:36 +0000 For an assignment I saw given audio-less video clips from the film Avatar. It was up to me to create the Soundscape/Sound design in both 5.1 and stereo for those clips. For this clip there was a shot of an aircraft moving closer to the camera then flying off away afterwards. This sample was created by using noise oscillators in various software synthesisers to hand. I was trying to re-create the wind that an aircraft would make when flying pass which explains the slow build up and fade away. Although this is not the end result for the sound made for the aircraft in that shot, it shows how something small like wind can be created by something simple like a noise oscillator.
