I Went To The Shop And I Bought.. by James Brady - Composer and Performer

A 'household piece' by James Brady.
Inspired by an idea from Matthew Shlomowitz (https://www.shlom.com/), I created this piece for a single household during lockdown, consisting of:

Mina (vocals)
Sylvester (trombone)
and their parents:
Uli (recorder)
Rex (double bass)

Other than Rex, none of the players is a professional musician.

The text is constructed from a shopping list the family had from early in the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, reflecting their everyday needs as a family.
