Innerview with James Kumo: 1. When, where & how did you start DJing/producing? I started DJing way before producing, around 1993. Like most people, I started out doing mix tapes at home, or with mates, which then eventually spurred me to want to speak to venues and the like, so got opportunities to play out here and there. Producing came later, around 2007 - so, many years later. 2. What is your favourite venue? This is a hard one, as i've not been to some venues, which i know are awesome. My favourite to hang out, tend to be more intimate, smaller places, like Plastic People in London, Panorama Bar or Watergate in Berlin, Cielo in NYC, places like that. 3.
