Video Game Music: 07 - Departure by Twelfth Chromatic published on 2013-07-22T11:09:13Z 'Departure' is a slow orchestral piece with some electronic elements, such as the drums. I was inspired to make this track after hearing 'One Summers Day'* by Joe Hisaishi and 'Time'** by Hans Zimmer. 'Departure' starts off very calm and then gradually builds up to become a full orchestra. It features cool instruments such as a very soft french horn, a glockenspiel, and some nice electronic drums from the kontakt factory library. The duration of the piece is around twelve minutes (as expected of an in-game track). *One Summer's Day is copyrighted to Joe Hisaishi. **Time is copyrighted to Hans Zimmer. __________________________________________________________________________ This track is available with a freeware license and is free to use if your game is freeware, and the does not generate any profit.
