Jack Halama Jack Halama London Jack was introduced to music at an early age, learning to play the piano while he was learning to walk. Mostly self taught, Jack developed a musical style blending the Classical, Jazz and Contemporary music he would learn by ear at home from his mother's cassette tapes and vinyl. After being gifted Experience Hendrix on CD for his 8th birthday, Jack saved up and bought his first guitar, and didn't really put it down for the next decade. Throughout school and college, Jack studied traditional composition and performance alongside honing his skills in the studio, producing a range of electronic music and experimenting with different forms. Jack studied music at Sir Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, gaining a first class BA Hons degree and has been working in the industry ever since In 2013, Jack teamed up with Ruth Barrett as a session guitarist on Legacy, an intense and emotionally charged Cold War thriller for BBC2. Since then, Jack has gone on to write and play on a whole host of Barrett's work, including guitar playing on Sky 1's Critical starring Lennie James, Remember Me on BBC1 starring Michael Palin and feature film City of Tiny Lights starring Riz Ahmed.
