“One of the best Southern Rock Bands in the USA…J. Curly Speegle performing the lead vocal and laying down some ingeniously cool guitar licks takes this recording to the level of extraordinary… Without a doubt this is truly one of the most triumphant CD’s we have ever heard here at Roots Music Report. Southern Rock, Blues, and Roots Rock at its best’’. (5 Stars, Robert Bartosh, Roots Music Report Editor)
Born and raised in the heart of Alabama, the earlier Muscle Shoals players influenced and shaped this singer/songwriter’s soul-rock sound and style as an artist, and set the impassioned J. Curly on a path to become the commanding guitarist he is today.
“Speegle is one of the most entertaining, energetic, soulful musicians around and brings an electrifying touch…Speegle played a solo blues number on slide guitar as well as any ‘Delta Blues Man’ could.” (Leon Russell concert review, Vail Daily)
