Last episode I introduced you to who I am and what Young and Foolish is all about.

This episode I chat with Niv Dror who is currently at Product Hunt and was previously at Meerkat and DataFox. He tells us how he graduated high school at 16 and became one of the youngest people in history to become a CPA at age 20. He eventually got the itch to work in tech by working in Chris Sacca's first fund and after working briefly for a friend's startup he used his signature tactic to get into successful startup, work for free! Niv brilliantly realized that if he offered to work for free he could get his foot in the door and prove his potential and eventually get paid as the company will feel the need to reward his work. This is an awesome strategy for young fools that I seen other people using and getting AMAZING gigs then proving their potential and rising up through the ranks. Also at 12:36 he talks about creating a email where you list 3 amazing things about you and that he is willing to work for free to Naval Ravikant CEO of Angle List and he got a response! Using this same technique he was able to land a job at DataFox and Meerkat which lead to his position at Product Hunt. Note, his first day working for Meerkat was INSANE because they had their explosive launch at SXSW where they were the most talked about startup there.
