Irregular is always enjoying discovering the diverse faces of good electronic music. It is time for Eugenia and Ana, Las CasiCasiotone. They suggest us an intense and odd new EP.

Three cuts packed of micro-sounds where the duo from Asturias (Spain) makes good use of every single machine of their collection. On “Musculitos” the girls speculates with arpeggios, chorus and melodies. A wall of sound easy to climb but where is difficult to descend. On the other hand, naked beat-boxes and experimental electro-bit “Octopus Killers”.

Previous to this, LCC made us thrill with the track (and title of this release) “Polar Bears Are Coming”. Again analog drops, brief chords and one bonus ingredient, a rescued speech that could serve to finish with this song in the …… Don’t panic this is about feelings, not intimidation.

Irregular es un mutante que disfruta con los diversos rostros de la buena electrónica. Os presentamos en esta ocasión a Eugenia y Ana, Las CasiCasiotone, quienes nos traen un EP intenso y distinto.

Tres cortes de sonidos subliminales donde el dúo de asturianas deja patente el jugo que le sacan a cada una de sus máquinas de colección. Se adivinan arpegios, coros y melodías en “Musculitos”. Tema que se mantiene en una nube de la que cuesta trabajo bajarse. Experimentan sin embargo con el sonido desnudo de las cajas de ritmo y el electro-bit en “Octopus Killer”.

Antes de esto ya nos habían vuelto a transportar con el tema que da título al disco “Polar Bears Are Coming”. De nuevo detalles analógicos, acordes espontáneos y un ingrediente más, un discurso rescatado que podría caer en los despachos de Seguridad Nacional. No nos asustemos, son sentimientos, no intimidación.
