Angelo Iossa, better known as simply Iossa, born in Caserta, Italy, 1987, is a Singer, Songwriter and Vocal Producer. He's a pop oriented artist influenced by many genres and styles.
His career begins in 2009 with the talent TV show "Amici di Maria De Filippi”, then following up with a role in the musical "C'Era Una Volta… Scugnizzi” in 2010.
After the musical, he starts projecting both his live acts and songwriting work into Electronic Dance Music, collaborating with several DJs and Producers, such as John Dahlback, Chadash Cort, Mindshake and Daddy’s Groove.
His most popular hit in the Electronic Dance Music is “Surrender", written by him and co-produced by Daddy’s Groove and Mindshake in 2013.
In 2015 Iossa collected his early discography, and performed it in the acoustic session “Unplugged Live”, featuring Emilio “Milo” Lanza, and published it as an album. The soulful ballad “Here I Am” followed a few months later.
A series of successful collaborations in the Electronic Dance Music continue to be released, featuring Max Zotti, Flatdisk, Mario Sem, Danilo Seclì, the dutch DJ producer Daniel Wanrooy and Iossa’s very fellow countryman Ken Holland.
Holland and Wanrooy later join the french artist Ludovic “GMJ” Faury in the making of Iossa’s first studio album, “Life Will Always Shine” which he signs in 2018 with the American label Aftertouch Music, led by the producer Roger Ryan.
On a journey to slow discovery and revival of his Christian faith, Iossa chooses to step out of the stage lights for a while, to focus on being a husband, father and active member of his community in Naples, and to commit to the mission to nurture and help the new generation of talents in the city.
Angelo Iossa is a very prolific songwriter and vocal producer for many artists, and head of the first catholic music and musical theatre production company in Naples, "Cantàmmo a Gesù!", working alongside a group of professionals and sharing his faith and dreams with them, working together in the name of God.
