As a child, Fen was already attracted by music of Stevie Wonder and The Jacksons. At a young age he participated in "Pour La Gloire", a talent show of RTBF (first national tv channel in Belgium) in which he finished as a finalist. Thanks to this experience, Fen decided to take a professional approach to music. A first album was released in the year 2000 with the group "Arias". The album contained a lot of catchy songs. It didn't take long before the request came from other artists to write songs for them as well.
In 2008, Fen released his first solo album (“Pardonner”) and in 2011 a follow-up album called "On A Besoin". This album was picked up by national radio stations after his performances at Nostalgie and RTL Belgium.
That same year, Fen was nominated for the "Octaves de la Musique" with his single "Walo". The following year he reached the final of the contest organized by RTBF, the winner of which would represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest with single “Yes I Know”
Fen, however, just missed the first place.

Fen will soon release his new album entitled "Life Is So Beautiful" and today he presents his eponymous single. “While writing the song in the lockdown, I wanted to mix my favorite styles, funk and Motown. To make it sound catchy, I poured a pop sauce over it. I wanted a positive text with a colorful approach, a feeling that is hard to find in the gray street scene today. The song tells about the beautiful things in life and the happiness that hides in everyday trifles. To realize the album, I collaborated with Babl Lemmens, the producer who works with Netsky, Loic Nottet and Kate Ryan, among others. The same Babl Lemmens also created the live shows of artists such as Natalia and Laura Tesoro. It was therefore very nice to be able to work with him”, says an enthusiastic Fen.
