In-Volution Lisbon In-Volution, “turning in” on one ́s self. Combining genre-bending soundscapes and visuals mediated by biometric data, @XIIK & @vanessakokeshi will guide you through an inner journey. By merging organic techno with electronic healing sounds and ritual rhythms, you are expected to travel across the spectrum of human emotions, states of ecstasy, catharsis, relaxation, introspection, and healing. Brain frequencies, haptic movements and biometric data will immerse you in generative visuals and psychedelic colors. The performers will be wearing biometric sensors that can analyse brain, heart, breath and movement activity during their act. This activity modulates the sound and the visuals of the performance. At the same time the data is plotted behind of the performers in the form of graph and two digital avatars will be mimicking the performers so the crowd can understand their biometric and movement activity. @XIIK is the co-founder of @TRANS-LATE and Muarts. As a neuroscientist and a multi-sensory technologist, @XIIK uses generative sounds and visuals to create a new form of communication. @vanessakokeshi is the co-founder of @TRANS-LASTE, a DJ and sound designer.
