Iman Deeper’s music came to life in Tehran in early 2008, passed
through Rome, and finally saddled in Berlin. His tunes reflect his
personal and emotional experiences in life and also reveal his
advancement in his melodic career as a producer/ DJ / live performer.
Iman’s first EP ‘Sky Walker’ was released in 2010 by the UK label
Revolucion Records. In 2011-2012 he produced and released music
under the name ‘La Roca’ which grabbed the attention of various
record labels such as: Big Mammas House, May Recordings, Stonneddogs Records, Tech You Very Much, Suaheli, Doppelgaenger and Purple Sun.
Soon after La Roca was disjointed, he moved to Berlin to pursue his
unceasing passion for sound and studio life. And Berlin on the other
hand has welcomed him with its diverse music scene and has given him
a new perspective. Today Iman Deeper is also producing and performing a live act together with American producer Hubrist as Aananda . Aananda is a study of beauty and raw power, taking inspiration from electronica and deep house to create new space where dance music moves not only your feet, but your heart as well. The live performance is an exploration of emotion and the present moment through instrumental improvisation and the live electronic manipulation of their original music.
The duo launched their record label Deep Locus Records at early 2017. Deep Locus is a family of likeminded individuals that believe in promoting the transformative power of music in all its forms.
Formed in 2015 and published in 2017, Deep Locus has deep roots. Years before it had a name, Deep Locus was already a musical family, living together, performing together, and providing support to each other in all their creative endeavors.
In the past 6 years Iman has been DJing and playing his live and DJ sets at
different venues like Sisyphos, Arena, Ritter Butzke, Rummels Bucht, Naherholungsternchen, Johny Knüple, Birgit & Bier, Feel Festival , Monis Rache Festival, as well numerous underground parties. Iman Deeper has enjoyed different dj residencies during these years in some of Berlin's well known local venues, such as Club R19, AVA, Urban Spree, Minimal Bar, Promenaden Eck and It's a Bar .
Iman Deeper's 99 episodes of radio show at the Japanese radio station Kittikun Minimal Techno Shoutcast are now available for download, including tracklisting on soundcloud.
