Hazerd

Daniel Sanchez (born September 3rd, 1987), also known as Hazerd is an American Rapper from Ontario, California. Born in Montebello, California; Hazerd and family, moved to Ontario in search of a safer environment. He began his musical career at a young age, with aspirations of becoming a singer. Hazerd spent several years writing music and attempting to teach himself to sing, until one day in 2001; he witnessed his first live freestyle battle, and became hooked. "I had always been a fan of rap and hip-hop, but that was the moment where I was like WOW, I can do that", says Hazerd. He spent the next several years making a name for himself through the Inland Empire, and Los Angeles county by battling and doing shows at local venues. In 2005 Hazerd's career began to lose traction when he entered the revolving door of jail. Multiple run-ins with the law yielded an abundance of assault and robbery sentences; the last being served in 2012. Hazerd says "going in and out of prison showed me how dumb I had been, and that I had only failed myself." Between jail visits, Hazerd released a mixtape and an album; the former being : Lyrics, groupies, and money; and the latter, Confessions of a Two Strike Felon. Modern Day Slavery, a track off of Hazerd's latest project, due to release early 2015, has already received praise from Snoop Doog and his Underground heat. Hazerd says "I am off of parole, I am focused on my music, and this is my time to make it work."
