Wandering (Disquiet0322) by ikjoyce published on 2018-03-02T15:50:00Z This week's Junto is to make a piece of music that is designed to allow the mind to wander. This is a self-playing modular synth track, using three sequencers that are interacting, attenuated and sampled at different time points to derive three related sequences, in a minor key. There are also occasional key changes, derived from a fourth sequencer. The three voices were set up to have dark timbres and have slow attacks, with lots of soft modulations to keep some interest. I made a short video of the opening of this piece, just to show the synth in action on its own. Definitely conducive to mental wandering. 2018-03-03T20:17:39Z Comment by halF unusuaL Drifting off nicely - lovely sounds ... 2018-03-02T20:52:21Z Comment by Daniel Diaz excellent. 2018-03-02T19:54:50Z Comment by ikjoyce @disquiet 2018-03-02T15:50:42Z
