This week's Junto was to make a musical palindrome. I had made one many years ago, so I initially submitted it as I didn't think I would have time this weekend to do the challenge, but as it happens I did manage to get some time today. This is a straight recording of a single take of me playing the piano, modular synth, and delay pedals, which has a reversed copy directly overlaid. (I also swapped the channels of the reversed copy).
The title stems from a famous palindrome which keeps on getting longer as people add more words to it - some examples below:
A man, a plan, a canal - Panama!
A man, a plan, a cat, a canal - Panama!
A man, a plan, a cat, a ham, a yak, a yam, a hat, a canal - Panama!
A man, a plan, a canoe, pasta, heros' rajahs, a coloratura, maps, snipe, percale, macaroni, a gag, a banana bag, a tan, a tag, a banana bag again (or a camel), a crepe, pins, Spam, a rut, a Rolo, cash, a jar, sore hats, a peon, a canal - Panama!
