Replicant Nation (Disquiet0243) by ikjoyce published on 2016-08-25T20:24:08Z This week's Junto is to write a piece of music from your failed attempt at getting the gig to write the Bladerunner 2 soundtrack. I am very short of time this week, so I patched up something interesting in a hurry (this took less than an hour from a blank, unpatched modular!), borrowing little hints here and there from the original soundtrack as to what notes to play and what sort of sounds to go for. No idea what the sequel will be like, so I imagined a city, much like the opening of the first film, but populated entirely by replicants... As usual, 100% live straight recording, no overdubs.
