Iddqd Arya Afshar Mohajer Montreal IDDQD was founded in 2011 as a collaborative music project in Istanbul, Turkey by Iranian multi-instrumentalist/producer, Arya Afshar. IDDQD released a number of singles from 2011 to 2016, before releasing its debut album 'Last Year on Earth' in 2017. The second album 'Mutations' was released in 2020. The style has changed over the years, but can be defined as Alternative/Psychedelic Rock with Eastern rhythms, and heavily influenced by the likes of Mars Volta, Gogo Penguin, Snarky Puppy, Physics House Band, Dredg, and Tool.
