In this ICA lecture hear Robleto discuss his lifelong interest in music, including DJ culture and how it continues to inform his work. Dario Robleto has been included in numerous solo and group exhibitions, such as Robleto: Alloy of Love at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College (2008) and The Old, Weird America at the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston (2008). Most recently, the artist’s work was featured on the cover of Yo La Tengo’s 2009 album, Popular Songs. Robleto is the featured teaching artist for the 2011 ICA Summer Artist Residency, a week-long program with area teens, and the museum’s Third Annual National Convening for Teens in the Arts this August.
