Hodgson Patrick Hodgson London Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org Hodgson is a London born and based artist that has spent his life absorbing the best underground music London has had to offer; Pirate radio, record shops, Jungle raves, Hardcore history and soundsystem culture is in his blood. Hodgson is constantly drawing on his musical influences to harness his own assured musical identity and after many years of progression and discovery this musical heritage has evolved into the hybrid sound he is quickly becoming synonymous with and can be heard in his songs: One Spliff and Babylon System. Hodgson has spent the last few years in the studio working on original music whilst remixing Maya Jane Coles’ Nocturnal Sunshine project, Roni Size & Krust’s first EP of the re-launched Full Cycle Records and the African band Afriquoi, whilst also fitting in appearances at a selection of festivals including Glastonbury UK, Secret Garden UK, Bestival UK, Off-Sonar ESP, Dimensions Croatia and Horizon Bulgaria. His productions have earned him BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM airplay throughout the years and earned him support from DJs such as Adana Twins, Maya Jane Coles, Robert Hood, Solomun and many more. He continues his dedication at delivering finely tuned original music, that showcase an extension of the soundsystem influenced dance floor sound he has projected so far, whilst giving us an insight to the ever-evolving creative dimensions that contribute to the sound of Hodgson.
