Nineteen In B(disquiet0296) by Hypoid published on 2017-09-03T08:38:54Z Questionable accompanying video- https://youtu.be/OcqNmtHeOiU Nineteen in B(disquiet0296) Spreadsheets and large groups of numbers give me a headache, but one thing that stood out before I was incapacitated, nineteen people picked the number 19. This was obvious sign to stop looking at numbers on a grid and make some noise. I thought an experiment in Cubasis utilizing nineteen different synths could be interesting and answer some questions about limitations with Inter App Audio in iOS. Okay, actually only eighteen and a drum kit from Cubasis. After fifteen it got a little painful loading new track instruments and honestly, it was getting tough adding complimentary sounds as well. But with track freezing, placement and mixing board work, something that resembles all the sounds that make you grit your teeth was born! I T ’ S A L I V E !! Stuff used: Animoog Alchemy Crystal XT FM4 mood SynthQ Sunrizer Thor Waldorf Nave (2 patches, one bounced) Yonac KASPAR Yonac Magellan Nanologue Microcoque (2 different MIDI patches) iVCS3 TF7Soundscaper Thereminator B major was the root and a modified and distorted Nine EFX kit made the beats. Hope the pain inflicted is only temporary, I’ll let you know when mine clears ;-D More on this 296th weekly Disquiet Junto project — Clustered Primes: Make music inspired by a prime-number query initiated by novelist Robin Sloan — at: https://disquiet.com/0296/ More on the Disquiet Junto at: https://disquiet.com/junto/ More from Robin Sloan at: https://www.robinsloan.com/ Subscribe to project announcements here: http://tinyletter.com/disquiet-junto/ Project discussion takes place on llllllll.co: https://llllllll.co/t/disquiet-junto-project-0296-clustered-primes/ There’s also on a Junto Slack. Genre ExperiMental NoisE Comment by Hypoid @yawha: Massive in both sound and organization, too many synths confuse the pad ;-) Thanks for the vote of confidence! 2017-10-10T10:57:34Z Comment by Ya Wha? Great job to make 19 instruments play together! The result is suitably massive.. 2017-09-30T23:21:07Z Comment by Hypoid @random-coil: Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed! 2017-09-04T16:56:52Z Comment by Hypoid @random-coil: Busy but fun ;-) 2017-09-04T16:54:20Z Comment by Hypoid @suss-musik: Thanks Suss!
