The paper was entitled: 'The Kennedys of Mount Kennedy'. Therese Hicks has an MA in theology (St. Michael's U, Toronto, 1976) and an MA in Counselling Psychology (Lesley U, Cambridge MA, 1991). Originally from Pennsylvania, her explorations of the area in which she now lives, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow, have led to her recovering the early history of the Mount Kennedy estate, which has not been previously investigated. The estate papers are part of the Wicklow Papers (NLI), which only came into State ownership in the 1950s. She is currently retired from the HSE. Tudor and Stuart Ireland Conference The 7th Annual Tudor & Stuart Ireland Interdisciplinary Conference took place at NUI Galway in August, 2017. The conference was generously supported by the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies, NUI Galway, the School of Humanities, NUI Galway, the Moore Institute, NUI Galway, the Discipline of History and the Discipline of English at NUI Galway, the Women's History Association of Ireland, and Marsh's Library.
