Benjamin Hazard - Irish Franciscans of the Santiago Province in Spain by History Hub published on 2017-09-19T18:31:38Z In this Tudor and Stuart Ireland Conference podcast, a recording of a paper by Dr Benjamin Hazard (UCD). His paper was entitled 'Irish Franciscans of the Santiago Province in Spain'. Dr Benjamin Hazard is a qualified archivist and historian. A graduate of University College Cork, he completed his doctorate in History at the University of Maynooth after archival research in Spain, Rome and Belgium. He has an established research record in peer-reviewed academic publications and his Ph.D. was published as a monograph. From 2007 to 2010, he held the Louvain 400 Postdoctoral Fellowship at University College Dublin. At present, he is a Tutor at UCD’s School of History. Tudor and Stuart Ireland Conference The 7th Annual Tudor & Stuart Ireland Interdisciplinary Conference took place at NUI Galway in August, 2017. The conference was generously supported by the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies, NUI Galway, the School of Humanities, NUI Galway, the Moore Institute, NUI Galway, the Discipline of History and the Discipline of English at NUI Galway, the Women's History Association of Ireland, and Marsh's Library.
