A New Day by Hipnautica

This song was written during my rebirth from a painful divorce, and the rebuilding into a new life out of the ashes. I had not written or really performed seriously in a couple years - when out of the blue this song came to me written and recorded in 1 day. It was if the flood gates to creativity had opened, but unfortunately it would be be many more months until I began writing more consistently. The vocal track is deep, sincere and hopeful but with a sadness and longing. The vibe epic as my life has been an epic journey of continuous discovery and growing. This represents a turning point in my life. If you listen closely you will hear the sounds of birds, wind, and a river all recorded on the property as part of the intentional healing community, we hosted retreats, sacred dance sessions along the river in the backyard. It was a great place to reset and regroup.
