The label was founded by William R. Buchanan in 2012. The mission of High Freq. Records is to release quality DJ-friendly full length High Frequency Dubstep music that is produced by talented producers and up-and-coming vocal artists. Beats 4 DJs' co-founder William Buchanan, also known by his stage name Yahru El Guru Dj or YEG.DJ, decided to start this label after years of DJ-ing and remixing Electronic music and Reggae. He has opened for artists such as The Wailers (Jamaica), Goldie (UK), Mad Professor (London), Keith Mackenzie (USA), Ramiro Puente (Mexico), and toured with the General Smiley (Jamaica). Geared with years of knowledge, connections, and a passion for music, High Frequency Records a subdivision of Beats 4 DJs was born. High Frequency Records, has one contributing artists: Mistah Nerf - a Filipino Dubstep and Electro House producer - 29 years of age - Has two high freq.
