Label owner CHEMICAL PLAY (Bulletdodge / Low Battery) is no stranger to the underground party scene, having enjoyed many years as resident DJ for home town Brighton’s most successful parties (Moody Disco, De Puta Madre, Beatsworkin, Clinic etc). He has thrown down with some of the biggest players in the industry (such as SETH TROXLER, NIC FANCIULLI, MACEO PLEX, as well as underground legends including GEDDES (Murmur), ADAM SHELTON (One Records) and MATT TOLFREY (Leftroom)) in his 12 years of professional DJing. He is also a successful producer releasing on Techno labels BULLETDODGE (Carl Cox’s favorite label of 2012), LOW BATTERY and PLUS PLUS to name a few. This has given him a valuable insight into the industry. The time has now come to put this knowledge and experience to work in founding a record label & business. ‘HIDE + SEEK BLACK’ (Vinyl) and ‘HIDE + SEEK’ (online) “aim to deliver outstanding Techno and Tech House, always with flair and movement. The decision to choose the Vinyl format was easy; “Vinyl’s always been a major part of my musical upbringing and DJ sets says label owner Si King. “As such we’ll be saving one special track on each release exclusively for wax. The Vinyl runs will also be available 1-2 months before the online versions”. “I've got an amazing group of international artists signed” Says Si.
