HEY HEY Hey Hey Aachen The Cologne/ Aachen fourpiece plays its own modern version of guitarbased indiepop, which is influenced by veterans such as Pavement or Blur. Mixed up with 70s-synth-sounds, they switch between deep melancholia and a**kicking rocksongs. Sweet&sour pop meets the wall of sound, fragile guitar riffs mash up with meandering organ loops. It rocks, it dances. HEY HEYs second e.p. "Shimmering" was released October, 2015. A 2016 spring tour leads the band to venues in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands and in August HEY HEY supported German pop star NENA in front of 4000 fans.
