Here it is! My guest mix for Diplo and Friends that aired on BBC1/1xtra last week, completely uncut and unedited! Features tons of my favorite tracks at the moment and some forthcoming HXV tracks. With this mix I showcased not only what to expect when you see HXV dj but also put together the influences seen in our new material. The dark minimal sounds of techno mixed the 808s and experimental production found in current southern rap. The prevailing theme in this mix is the sound of real darkness, at parts its slow an immersive in textures and other parts its violent and abrupt. This is the closest thing you can get to seeing a sketch book of where HXV influences come from. Enjoy the ride.
