Henrik Ajax Henrik Ajax Munich Henrik Ajax studied piano, composition and music theory in Paris, Würzburg and in Munich. As a student he received several stipends and prizes in composition competitions. He also worked as a piano improviser to silent films in Paris and with various jazz and rockn'roll groups in Europe and the USA. In 2017 the city of Munich granted him a stipend, financing a commission for three ensembles and in 2018 he was given the Artist Grant of the state of Bavaria. Ajax has been receiving commissions from a large number of ensembles, orchestras and choirs in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Portugal, Japan and the USA for the last couple of years. He lives in Munich, Germany.
