Helder Gent Belgian musician, composer and producer Helder Deploige has been working with bands like Sukilove, Kommil Foo, The Rhythm Junks and various international theatre companies. In 2003 Helder produced his debut album “The king lost his crown” in his bedroom. Taking care of the entire recording process, Helder played every single instrument on this honest, rootsy pop album. Additional vocals by Mich Walschaerts, Trixie Whitley, Pascal Deweze... In 2006 Helder released “The ceiling is not the sky”, recorded in New York, Morocco and Petegem-aan-de-Schelde, featuring Steven De bruyn, Trixie Whitley... In 2012 Helder released the third part of the home recording trilogy "The rhythm of change". Again, he played all the instruments himself. In 2019 one man band Helder presents new work on the EP "Traveling Man". Recorded live by Jan Chantrain, Helder is accompanied by Lara Rosseel on double bass and Arne Leurentop on piano and violin.
