Harry Ley is the youngest of four sons, born and raised in a suburban town in North-East London. Music took a big role in his life from an early age, starting as a hobby from 11 years old but quickly progressed into a lifestyle. At 16, Harry attended the Access to Music College in East London, whose former students include Rita Ora and Ed Sheeran.
By 18, Harry had 9 signed releases, starting with his first release, the multi-sub genred ‘House EP [MFR018]‘ on MFR Records. This release successfully resulted in him becoming an official UK Artist and he was welcomed into the MFR family. His second release, also on MFR Records, ‘My Neck EP [MFR024]‘, really got the ball rolling with its unforgettably catchy headline track. My Neck, reached number 3 in the DJCity.co.uk‘s top UK downloads. Harry continues to release tracks on a regular basis, not only on MFR, but also on other labels such as Audio Rehab, Audiowhore & Switched On Records.
Following his success; Harry started DJing. He took to the art naturally, mastering the technique of mixing after just 2 months. Quickly, promoters picked up on his talent and invited him to perform in some of the biggest clubs in London including Ministry Of Sound, Lightbox, Fire, The Qube Project (formally known as Pacha), Club No65, Rhythm Factory, Trapeze Bar (Shoreditch), Warehouse (Edmonton), Scala, Bar Inc (Northolt) and The Coronet. As well as this, Harry has also performed in Bora Bora, Ibiza and Bristol.
Not only is Harry is one of the headline artists at MFR Records, the co-founder of Motion Events, he has also established his own label, 2tone Records, with his DJ partner Limitless. The label has taken off very quickly signing multiple artists and releasing unique sounding tracks that have been featured on Kiss 100, Rinse FM and being played in the biggest events in the UK.
Graphic Design is also a big part of his life and is the main graphic designer for some biggest UK record labels and events designing websites, logos, flyers, posters, album artworks and much more.
