Hall of Mirrors Hall of Mirrors is an experimental music project founded by Andrea Marutti (Amon, Never Known, etc.) and Giuseppe Verticchio (Nimh) in 2005. Their first album, entitled "Reflections on Black", featured Giulio Biaggi (Nefelheim) and Daniela Gherardi as precious guests, and was released in July 2007 by Silentes. A second work entitled "Forgotten Realm" featuring Andrea Freschi (Subinterior, Coma Divine and Canaan) and Andrea Ferraris (Ur, Air Chamber 3, Sil Muir, etc.) was recorded during 2007 and was released, again, by Silentes in early December 2009. Recording sessions for the third Hall of Mirrors album entitled "Altered Nights" took place during Summer 2010. The album consists of two CDs and features contributions by Pietro Riparbelli/K11, Vestigial, New Risen Throne and - once again - Andrea Freschi (Subinterior, Coma Divine and Canaan) and Andrea Ferraris (Ur, Air Chamber 3, Sil Muir, etc.) "Altered Nights" was released by Malignant Records in late April 2012. Created between May 2016 and January 2018, the fourth HOM album – entitled “When Only Shades Remain” – was released by renowned Italian label Eibon Records in late April 2018. As mentioned above, our previous releases have used different guests/collaborators, making it a distinctive feature of the project, but for this new chapter we decided to go alone. The album comes in a gorgeous gatefold cardboard digisleeve with inner sleeve that features stunning artwork created by Mauro, the Eibon Commander.
