Green Of Longreach by DANTO

I love Australia. There are some reasons like the beauty of the nature and various cute animals and so on. But most significant reason for me is one gentle man. He lived in Longreach, outback in Australia. When I was college student I have been to Australia for month twice with my friend. One day, we visited Longreach and met him. He was so kind that took us around the town by his car. And at night he invited us to his house and gave us special dinner.
At that time it had not rained for three years.
Next year, we visited him again. His family were so glad about our visit and let us stay their house. And we are so surprised that it had rained for several days and in some part of the town it was flooding.
The brown land changed marvelous beautiful green. Many green birds flew to the sky.
I portrayed that beautiful vast green land and this tune is for that man(Mr. Phill).
After we come back to Japan, I haven’t kept in touch with him for long time. He had so big love for his family and us the Japanese whom he never met. He is so wonderful person, I always think about him and his family. I hope to meet them someday!!

僕はオーストラリアが好きです。美しい自然やかわいらしい動物たち、いくつかの理由がありますが、最も重要な理由は、ある優しい男の人に出会ったことです。彼はオーストラリアのアウトバックと呼ばれる砂漠に住んでいました。
僕は学生の頃、１か月のオーストリア旅行に２回、友達と行きました。ある日、僕らはロングリーチを訪れ、そこで彼にあったのです。彼はとてもやさしく、初対面の僕らを車に乗せて、町中を案内して回ってくれました。そして夜はディナーにも呼んでいただき、彼のお家で、おいしい食事をご一緒しました。その時期は３年間雨が降っておらず、大地は茶色でした。
翌年、僕らは再度彼を訪ねました。相変わらず陽気で優しい彼ら家族は家に招いてくれて、宿泊させて頂きました。驚いたことに、あれほど降っていなかった雨がこの時は２週間降り続けで、町のなかでも洪水になっていました。
砂漠は茶色からまばゆいばかりの緑一面に変わっていました。そしてその上を緑のセキセイインコの大群が飛んでいく景色は圧巻でした。
僕はこの時の感動を、彼との思い出も盛り込んだ曲にしました。これは同時に彼（Mr.Phill）の曲でもあります。
帰国してから長いこと連絡を取り合っていません。彼はとても大きな愛を家族と、初対面の僕らにも注いでくれました。彼は本当に素晴らしい人でした。僕はいつもいつも彼と彼の家族の事を考えてきました。いつか会える日が来ることを夢見ています。
