Heather Price Heather Price Newcastle Heather Price is a performer, composer, arranger and teacher of music, who resides in Newcastle, Australia. Heather is a classically trained double bass player and singer, who also performs and teaches jazz, pop and rock. Heather writes songs for her church - congregational songs for the community to sing together, songs for "Messy Church" (a program for children that focuses on craft, singing and fun) and songs to express her own feelings towards faith and spirituality. Heather also writes secular songs based on her own life experiences. She arranges pieces for choirs, string ensembles and brass ensembles. She has completed such arrangements for some Australian bands, and also enjoys arranging pieces for her own students.
