"Intergalactikus" By gusse^digisonix Track started on PC / FastTracker2 some time back in 1999. Tune finished on Mac / MilkyTracker december 2012. 24 Channels. Half of the waveforms are made by me, the rest are from c64 samplepacks. I dedicate this tune to my cat Scarlet who keeps looking funny at me when I make these silly sounds. © HUGE CHIPTUNES 2012 Another finalized oldie from 1999. I struggled with this one back in the day, got stuck after i had made the first minute and a half or so and could not figure out how to finish it. I asked some friends to jump in for a coop and help me out but it never resulted in anything so the song was abandoned half way through. It always felt like one of those annoying, nagging puzzles I could not solve… When I picked up the song again this year the same problems appeared to remain. I felt the tune was off to a pretty good start but I could not wrap my head around how to finish it. But this time I was determined to find a way and after a whole lot of frustration, trial and error I managed to wrap it up somehow. After all this time with the tune I honestly can’t tell if it sounds good anymore. I hope it was worth the effort. What I do know is that it feels nice to finally be able to put it behind me and move on! It was a struggle, but now it is done. I hope someone ejoys the end result.

I absolutely love how it starts mellow, then it gets really catchy and fast-paced, while somehow still being mellow. I also like how it ends just as relaxed as it started. It's like a music-sandwich, when you think about it.
