Between his husky voice, precise guitar playing and down-to-earth presence, Greg Jones generates a connective musical experience that hangs in the balance of an intimate improv jazz session, a groove-filled jam show and a chill coffee shop concert. Trained in piano and self-taught in guitar, the Long Island native recalls a glimpse of Otis Redding on television sparking his musical journey and has since soaked up the sounds of Stephen Stills, Jerry Garcia and Ray LaMontagne. A husband and father of two, Jones has been focused on family for more than a decade, and just in the last two years, as his daughters have grown more independent, solidified a schedule of shows nearly every night throughout NJ, DE and PA. The supremely social musician has an immense and dedicated following, eagerly anticipating the release of his next offering, which Jones has been patiently waiting to record since his debut album Like a Move in 1999.
